HTC Touch, HTC P3400, HTC P3300 is now in India. It is a touchscreen phone which is powered by Windows Mobile. It is one of the first phones in India to have GPS maps of Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai, so if you are going to visit these place in the near future, don’t forget to take the HTC Touch. I am not sure about how to update the map (Road Changes and all) and I don’t think we can do that.
It offers the features which are found in most of the Windows Mobile like MS-Office, Mobile, Digital Camera, Internet Explorer, MSN Chat, MP3 Player and video recording.

A new device which enables Windows Mobile to work as a projector has been designed by [Stefano Casanova]. The phone looks very good and has a embedded projector which can be used to project what is coming on the Phone LCD on to a screen which makes mass viewing simple and less strenuous. The projector may not be as big as a movie hall projector but it is good and may give about 7 inch display in good quality.
Samsung has launched it’s new master piece i550 and i450 which has all the normal phone features like Music, Video, Text Messaging, Calendar and more, but what it will be know for is the GPS (Global Positioning System) which is attached to it, this can be used for direction tracing and it can mark the places where you go.
Smartphone uses HSDPA third-generation (3G) cellular technology for data access, offering speeds of 3.6 Mbps, according to Samsung. Amazing thing is both the phones use Symbain OS (47.9 per cent owned by Nokia)
The phone on the right is the i450, even this is GPS enabled but it is dedicated mainly for music.
This news is just in, today Nokia announced in the “Symbian Smartphone Show” that they are going to make Nokia S60 a touch interface phone. Claiming to make it one of the best touch interface phone, with direct finger touch ability and touch stick ability. It has a good camera and all the features that a good business phone needs.
Nokia claims to make S60 one of the most responsive touch interface phone till now, if that is the case, I am not sure how people will be able to keep it in their pockets.
Being a moderate gamer myself, I bought a new Nokia N-Gage QD and it’s first look impressed me a lot. Main features I liked were the arrangement of the keys and display was awesome. N-Gage looks just like a gameboy and it is a gamer friendly phone. All I have to say is that if you are a game, you have to buy this, it’s perfect for you. It supports a large number of games and it has a unique feature, that is the multi-player mode. If you buy a game card, then 2 people with the same game card (game) can play one on one. I play games like wrestling, car races with my friends who have N-Gage. Colour display is also very good and it’s a good experience to work with it. Though it is not a standard business phone, it meets the basic needs such as spreadsheet, document writer, calculator, currency conversion and more. This device is GPRS, GSM enabled phone, the internal browsers work well too.
The drawback with this phone is that you cannot connect it to your computer via USB but you have to setup a bluetooth device in your computer in order to exchange data. There is no camera and there is no inbuilt mp3 player (but we can install one). It has an internal memory of 4 mb but can be expanded to 1 gb.
If you are a gamer and want to buy a phone, then go for this one. It is currently out of the market in India, I am not sure about the US market. A new version of the N-Gage is expected to be released soon.
