Sony Playstation 3 review

Sony Playstation 3It is obvious that having a in the house of a game addict is a must. This gadget has got Sony Playstation 3 A1 rating all over the place from PC World to Ubergizmo and it has impressed people at Tech36 too.

It makes less noise as compared to the Xbox 360 but a bit louder that the Nintendo Wii. It weighs around 3.6 kg. The best feature in it is the online connectivity and online gaming. The PlayStation 3 comes in two versions. The $599 model has a 80GB hard disk; built-in 802.11b/g wireless networking; and MemoryStick, SD, and CompactFlash slots. The $499 unit omits Wi-Fi capability and the media card slots, and has a 60GB drive. Playstation 3 is also a very good looking device and can be kept horizontal or vertical.

Let the games begin!

  1. Sony has discontinued the Playstation 3 60gb model (its current price is $499) in the USA and instead is offering an 80gb PS3 with a game for $599. I have been hearing rumors of a “downgraded” PS3 being offered in the USA but have yet to see anything at this time. Good thing I got mine on the first price drop!
